About Greenmark
Greenmark Home Performance began in May 2013, founded to serve the unmet home performance needs of St. Louis-area and Metro East Illinois homeowners. We have teamed up with the Ameren Illinois ActOnEnergy program, the Department of Energy (DOE), Home Performance with Energy Star, and local power distributors throughout the region to offer our home evaluation and energy audit services, and to partner with trusted contractors for data-driven ventilation and home renovation services throughout the area.
Our focus is using the finest energy audit testing equipment on the market today to diagnose the issues of homes of all ages and locations, provide in-depth information on issues related to health, comfort, and efficiency, and provide our customers with all the solutions—from small actions you can take to whole home renovation and ventilation plans—to make your home a place you truly love to live in.
The traditional home energy performance industry is about patching over problems rather than solving their root causes. We’re part of the drive to change this with not only energy audits, but full home evaluations that lead to credible changes to make your home healthier, more comfortable, and more efficient.
Our Team
Owner Mark Inman has been in the home remodeling business for over 30 years, inheriting the family’s expertise in heating and cooling from a decade-long business. His passion for home efficiency and health stems from both his professional work and his upbringing.
Mark grew up in a large family living in a sizeable St. Louis home that was leaking and poorly ventilated. Mark believes this environment contributed to a number of respiratory ailments he had as a child, which has inspired his professional focus on investigating and solving these issues for others. He and everyone here at Greenmark believe that no families or children should suffer in homes that are unhealthy and uncomfortable. Our Five Pillars of Service

We carry general liability insurance up to $1 million, as well as comprehensive workers’ compensation insurance.
